About this role

Perez Ventures Group of Companies (PVGC) is looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Specialist / Manager who will play a major role in building a strong, positive, and high-performing company culture. This is not limited to administrative HR work. The successful candidate will help shape how employees work, communicate, grow, and contribute to the organization. We are looking for someone who can balance employee well-being with accountability, performance, and the company’s business goals.

Responsibilities

-Lead initiatives that strengthen the company’s culture, values, teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement -Work closely with management to define and communicate the organization’s mission, values, and expected workplace behaviors -Develop programs that improve employee morale, collaboration, recognition, and retention Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, job offers, and onboarding -Create an onboarding experience that helps new employees understand the company’s culture, standards, and expectations -Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and company guidelines -Manage performance evaluations, employee coaching, development plans, and performance improvement programs -Handle employee concerns, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and performance issues fairly and professionally -Prepare notices, memoranda, incident reports, notices to explain, and other HR correspondence -Maintain complete and accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation -Monitor attendance, leaves, tardiness, overtime, and other employee-related records -Assist in payroll preparation and employee information verification -Plan employee engagement, recognition, training, and professional development activities -Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated requirements -Provide management with HR reports, workforce insights, and practical recommendations -Use technology and AI tools to improve recruitment, reporting, documentation, employee engagement, and other HR processes

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field -Relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist, supervisory, or managerial role -Proven ability to develop or improve company culture and employee engagement -Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development -Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements -Experience in creating HR policies, SOPs, reports, and employee communications -Strong leadership, decision-making, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino -Organized, discreet, dependable, and capable of handling confidential information -Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other productivity platforms -Knowledgeable and confident in using AI tools for HR work, research, automation, and documentation -Experience in an e-commerce, retail, or fast-growing organization is an advantage -Pleasing, professional, approachable, and people-oriented personality
